Medium: Mixed Media Collage @kayashoots Adrianna “Kaya” Clark (b. 1977, Oxford, MS) began her love affair with photography at the age of three. After traveling the world due to her father being in the Marine Corps, she settled in Atlanta in 1995. She attended Spelman College, and in 1999 began an 18 year career teaching elementary school in the Atlanta Public School System. After the birth of her son in 2007, she was given a camera and ventured back into photography. Drawing inspiration from conversations with women of the African diaspora about life, love, and living, she aims to capture her subjects natural beauty.
